EOA / Children's House would like to say thank you to The Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation for their challenge grant of $500,000 in support of the new Children's House Center to be built in Springdale, AR. A challenge grant must be matched, dollar for dollar by other contributions in the community for Children's House to get this funding. Contact Ben McLintock at mclintock_eoa@yahoo.com or 479-872-7479, ex. 16 if you would like to help us match this critical gift!
Another success in raising support for our mission of
"Stopping Child Abuse. Saving Lives"!

Summer Salsa 2010 was a phenominal time for everyone who attended! Thank you to our Presenting "Red Savina" Sponsors, Walmart and Sara Lee and all our other sponsors for helping Summer break new records for helping abused and neglected children in Northwest Arkansas. This year's event raised more than $70,000 and helped us meet our challenge grant goal with the Mabee Foundation for their gift for the new center of $520,000! Thank you as well to Master of Ceremonies, John George for a moving program that really brought home what this new center will do for our community. The guests who braved the heat were treated to a one of a kind opportunity to see the new center before it is finished. See the event pictures on our Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/album.php?aid=14935&id=100000729094558

Thank you as well to all of our volunteers at Metropolitan Bank and guests for making our signature event a great one for the children who need our help. Be sure to plan for next year's Summer Salsa in the finished center!
